Opening its doors in 2008, Bahamas Coffee Roasters is a small specialty coffee roasting company located near Gregory Town on the island of Eleuthera.

Owners, Kirk and Patti Aulin, started their company based on their passion for a perfectly roasted and brewed coffee. While managing a resort in Eleuthera they found it difficult to find and serve a great cup of coffee to their guests. With their coffee background that they both developed back in Canada, they decided to roast their own in Eleuthera. It wasn't long before word started to spread about the delicious coffee and soon other resorts and restaurants were calling wanting their product. For the past 5 years they have been wholesaling their product to many of the hotels, restaurants, gift stores, grocery stores, private estates and friends throughout the Bahamas.



The Aulin's along with their two sons, are not new to island life, they are transplanted Canadians who have been in Eleuthera for the past eight years. Prior to moving to the Bahamas they lived in Grand Cayman and Anguilla.



What is next? After eight years as General Managers of a local resort, Kirk decided it was time to fully commit to the coffee company and venture into their first retail outlet. They believe in their coffee and they want to share it with everyone. They don't have to be the biggest but they do want to be the best! The new Location will be disclosed soon and is scheduled to open later this year.
